Who writes our pages
Every page carries the byline HR Riant Editorial Team. HR Riant was founded by a former agency headhunter, and the editorial team answers for every page on the site. We don’t invent author names or use author photos, and we don’t claim credentials, client lists or years of experience. More about us is on our about page.
Some recruiting pages draw on our founder’s first-hand work as an agency headhunter. Other practical advice comes from research into how recruiters and HR teams work, and we present it as common practice rather than as a personal story.
What we publish
We write for people with a task in front of them: an HR lead planning next year’s pay budget, a recruiter building a search string, a hiring manager preparing an interview. A page earns its place when it gets that task done faster or more accurately than what is already out there. In practice that means a template written for one country’s rules, or a list of dates taken from the official source and kept up to date.
Where our facts come from
Legal facts and dated figures come from official sources: the legislation itself and the government bodies that apply it. Industry figures come from professional bodies and published research. Forums and vendor blogs can show us what people ask, but we never use them as the only source for a fact. Every guide, template and country page lists its sources with the date we last checked each one. The details are in how we check our pages.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and check our pages. The HR Riant Editorial Team holds editorial responsibility for everything we publish. Every guide, template and country page goes through source checks before it goes live, and every fact that can change, such as a date or a pay rate, is backed by a source listed on the page.
How the site is paid for
HR Riant is free to use. Reading a page or downloading a file never requires an email address or an account.
Today the site carries no advertising and no sponsored content. If that changes, we will update this page. Ads will never be placed inside our tools or inside the steps of a guide.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email [email protected] with the page link and, if you have it, the source that shows the right answer. We check every report. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page, and its Reviewed date changes to show the update.
General information, not legal advice
Our guides and templates explain how things usually work and what the rules say at the time of our last review. They are not legal advice for your situation. If a decision has legal consequences, read the official source first. Then speak to an employment lawyer or another qualified advisor. Our terms of use set this out in full.
