General information, not legal advice
HR Riant explains how HR and recruiting work and what employment rules say at the time of our last review. It is general information. It is not legal advice or any other kind of professional advice, and using the site does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship with anyone.
Employment law is different in every country, and in many countries it also varies by state or province. It changes often. Before you act on anything with legal or financial consequences, check the official source linked on the page and get advice from an employment lawyer or another qualified advisor who knows your situation.
Accuracy
Our content pages show when we last reviewed them, and pages about country rules and dates are checked against their official sources. Even so, we can’t promise that a page or file is up to date or right for your situation. Rules and rates can change after our review, and you are responsible for checking that what you use fits your case.
Using our templates and files
You may download our templates and files free of charge and edit them. You may use them in your own organization’s work. If you work for a recruitment agency or as a recruiter or consultant, you may also use them in paid work for your clients and give your clients the documents you prepare. Your clients may keep using those documents. You can remove our notes and credit lines from any document you send to other people. Files you downloaded stay licensed to you even if we later remove them from the site.
You may not:
- Sell our templates or files, including as part of a bundle
- Publish or share them as templates on another website or in a product or marketplace
- Claim that you wrote them, or present them as legal documents reviewed for a particular case
A template is a starting point. You are responsible for adapting it and checking it against the law that applies to you. Get advice before you use a document with legal effect.
Using our pages
You may link to any page on HR Riant. You may quote short passages if you credit HR Riant and link to the page you quoted. Embedding our tools
Where we offer embed code for a tool, you may use it on your own site exactly as we provide it, with the HR Riant credit link kept in place and unchanged.
